Assisted theory test with an oral examiner
When you take an assisted theory test with an oral examiner (oral theory test), you take the test in a separate room accompanied by an examiner.
The examiner will assist you
When you take an assisted theory test with an oral examiner (oral theory test), you take the test in a separate room accompanied by the examiner. The test will be adapted to you and your needs, but the purpose is for the examiner to help you understand the questions and the answer options.
Audio support
If you only wish to have the questions and answer options read out to you in Norwegian Bokmål, without being in a separate room, this option is available without applying for an assisted theory test for special needs candidates.
You need to attach documentation when you apply
When you apply to take an assisted theory test for special needs candidates, you need to attach documentation. This may be a statement from your doctor, a speech therapist, the Educational and Psychological Counselling Service (PPT), or a teacher who can confirm your need for assistance.
