Forskningsprosjektene i FjordX har stor betydning for rekruttering til sektoren og utdanning av masterstudenter.

Fokusområdene er:

  • Utvikling av nye datamodeller for modellering og beregning av lastvirkning (naturlaster, ulykkeslaster).
  • Konstruksjonsrespons.
  • Utvikling av nye byggemetoder og beregningsmetoder for å redusere både kostnader og miljøutslipp.
  • Utvikling av digitale verktøy for datahåndtering og instrumentering av brukonstruksjoner.
